With global concern about climate change rising and the constant need to manage costs, the time for action has come. With funding through the Federal Government, the Huon Valley Kingborough Tourism Association (HVKTA) have launched a project to assist forty operators to develop the skills to conduct a Tourism Environmental Audit (TEA) and monitor their progress over 12 months in the area known as the ‘Huon Trail’.

Providing skills in responding to climate change, implementing sustainability initiatives, and responsible tourism this program aims to deliver measurable benefits to operators using the power of EarthCheck Assessed.
